Welcome to Berwick-upon-Tweed Backpackers Hostel. Berwick is the perfect location for the budget traveler. Leave the city behind because there's loads to do around Berwick on Tweed and North Northumberland. Take a walk around the Elizabethan town walls and admire the views south to the holy Island of Lindisfarne and beyond to the Farne Islands. Take a trip down to Bamburgh Castle check out the wild cattle at Chillingham castle then carry on a little further South and visit the Duke of Northumberland at Alnwick Castle. Once you've had enough of castles you could head for the Cheviot hills brilliant walking country on the Northern reaches of the Pennines.
