The Orange Tree is a stylish contemporary dining pub nestled in one of Norfolk's most beautiful coastal villages. We are widely recognised as one of the best places to eat in North Norfolk. It is our aim to serve award-winning food made from locally sourced produce in a laid back environment. We have an attractive al fresco dining area and childrens playground perfect for warm summer afternoons and evenings. The Orange Tree offers a haven of tranquility for couples families and friends looking to unwind and enjoy great food and wine. We have a total of seventeen en-suite bedrooms; six of these are situated in our courtyard four in The Old Bakery annex which is 50 metres from the front door. and seven in Manor Lodge which is next door to the main building. Making us the perfect spot to relax and enjoy our stunning unspoilt beaches by day and our award-winning food by night. We have three rooms which have separate bunk bed rooms for children. Dogs are welcome in the six courtyard rooms all seven Manor Lodge rooms and the one ground floor room in The Old Bakery. We even have a menu for them in the bar! Thornham offers an excellent base for visitors to explore our very special coastline. On the edge of Brancaster bay we are minutes' walk from Thornham Harbour and superb beach beyond where one can find unspoilt peace even at the height of summer. Very close by is the bustling harbour of Brancaster Staithe and the famous bird reserve of Titchwell. The site of the world-famous "Sea Henge" is within a mile and just along the coast is the popular family resort of Hunstanton. A few miles to the East is one of Norfolk's best loved coastal towns Wells-next-the-sea. We are very popular with those enjoying the varied country pursuits available in Norfolk. Dogs are welcome in fourteen of our seventeen bedrooms at a charge of £10 per dog per stay.
We have seventeen deluxe guest bedrooms all with en-suite facilities. Six are in a courtyard setting four in The Old Bakery - just 2 doors down from the main pub and seven next door in Manor Lodge. All rooms have a contemporary feel. Fourteen double rooms ten of which can be made up as twin rooms and three family rooms all with televisions and tea and coffee facilities. All rooms refurbished to a deluxe standard.
We have a cosy traditional bar with roaring open fires in winter. The resturant has a stylish contemporary ambiance with 2 private areas which can accommodate large parties. Outside is a large garden with childrens play area.

- The Orange Tree restaurant is the 'jewel in our crown' and can comfortably sit 60 people with a further 20 in our bar area. We are proud of our achievement being named Norfolk Dining Pub of the Year 2013 2014 2015 2016 2017 and 2018. We offer a wide range of bar classics through to innovative dishes on the main menu. Where possible we use local seasonal produce as reflected on our daily specials board.
