The Mill is perched on the side of a beautiful valley. It's acres of informal landscaped grounds flow down to the banks of the River Loughor and with the Brecon Beacons National Park as its backcloth provides the perfect peaceful sun trap. There are eleven individually designed en-suite bedrooms each of which is named after a Welsh Castle. All rooms are well equipped and include a whirlpool bath TV radio hairdryer trouser press telephone and hospitality tray. Most rooms have south facing terraces or balconies with lovely views of The Mill's landscaped grounds and the adjoining Glynhir Golf Course. Our heated swimming pool is positioned in the centre of the hotel building and heated to approx 78 degrees. Perfect for a plunge or a length of 5 or 6 strokes. It is 3 feet to 6 feet deep. Our small but well stocked bar contains a range of beers wines & spirits. .In the summer evenings you may wish to enjoy an aperitif on our high Bar Terrace with its panoramic views over the valley or dine in our restaurant with a a set Menu priced at £17.95 for 3 courses. Perhaps you would like to take a stroll in our 3 acres of gardens and ponds and sit adjacent to the neighbouring Golf Course. The Mill at Glynhir is located in a fantastic location for exploring the delights of Carmarthenshire & West Wales. Just 15 minutes drive away are the mysterious Gardens of Aberglasney and The National botanic Garden of Wales with it's huge glasshouse. The Mill is in the perfect location for exploring the delights of Mid & West Wales and is a superb base for golfing breaks. We are situated on the South Western Edge of The Brecon Beacons National Park and at the foothills of The Black Mountains; also well placed for the coast and a visit to the famous Gower Peninsula is a must. Truly it can be said that we enjoy the best of both worlds - set deep in the countryside yet with the towns of Swansea Llanelli Neath and Carmarthen all within a 30-minute drive away.
