Balquhidder Braes Holiday Park is a small family run holiday park in the heart of Scotland offering luxury quality self catering log cabins modern self catering caravan holiday homes as well as touring caravan spaces and tent pitches. Wonderfully situated in the centre of Scotland one mile south of Loch Earn in the Gateway to the Highlands and in the heart of Rob Roy country. We are privileged to be within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park - an area of outstanding natural beauty in historic Perthshire. We have many species of flora and fauna on and around our site including red squirrels deer otters osprey and wild orchids. The dramatic landscape within this area of Scotland makes this area perfect for a break at any time of year and increasingly customers are opting for a peaceful Autumn or Winter break. The area is steeped in history and myth. Rob Roy could not resist the area of Balquhidder and kept returning to it and finally made the area his final resting place. And Sir Walter Scott - a frequent visitor to Perthshire - wrote the following: 'These beautiful and wild regions comprehending so many lakes rocks sequested valleys and dim copsewoods are not quite abandoned by the fairies who have resolutely maintained secure footing in a region so well suited for their residence.'

4 berth cabins have a double room and a twin room. 6 berth units have a double en-suite and 2 twin rooms.

At the top of the range we have our custom built luxury Log Cabins either for holiday rental or for sale. All cabins are fully central heated and most units have a gas powered living flame hearth fire - the romance of a real fire but with instant heat and without the hassle of lighting and cleaning. Ideal to come home to after a hard day outdoors. With leather sofas in 4 berth units and the log-effect fires the lounge areas are spacious yet cosy.

Directions:
Follow signs for A84 Crianlarich. Follow road through Callander and then up Loch Lubnaig. Carry on through Strathyre and continue on for another 2 miles to Balquhidder Station (do not turn off for Balquhidder village at the Kingshouse). We are on the right handside before you exit Balquhidder Station.;
