The Stukeley Country Hotel is situated in the village of Great Stukeley which sits astride Ermine Street the old Roman road built between London and Lincoln in the 1st century AD. Legend has it that Dick Turpin the infamous 18th century highwayman once plied his trade along this route. The hotel has its origins in a 16th century farm house and an inn has reputedly stood on the site from earlier times. The Suffolk pink which gives us our second name the pink pub building is a welcoming beacon on the road north from Huntingdon and attracts an eclectic mix of residents from the village and from surrounding communities passing travellers and people working at the nearby business parks of Huntingdon and St. Neots. The internal décor of the hotel is a blend of the old and the new with brass spotlights and chalkboards complementing the warmth and character of the original brickwork solid oak beams. Regimental badges of the servicemen and women from the nearby base decorate and add charm to the bar. We are very central from Cambridge Peterborough and Bedford

We are just of the A1 and A14 Cambridge is only 15miles and Peterborough is 10 miles Huntingdon town is only 3 miles down the road also near by towns of St Ives and St Neots.
