Harehope Farm and surrounding country estate are within one of the most beautiful areas in Northumberland. The access land is well served with footpaths bridleways and quiet lanes so walks can begin from the doorstep - the best views of the Cheviot Hills can be seen from here. The Northumberland National Park and the Heritage Coast are within easy reach on quiet country roads. Eglingham village with its 14th century church is one of Northumberland's most picturesque and the village pub The Tankerville Arms is popular with both locals and visitors serving good locally sourced food. A short distance away is Chillingham Castle reputed to be England's most haunted and Chillingham Wild Cattle thought to be the only pure wild breed in the British Isles. Pugmill can comfortably accommodate four persons. A small dog can be included by prior arrangement only please contact us before making a booking. The cottage is one of a group of five individually owned properties converted from the original farm buildings and accessed by a private road from the farm. The timber beamed farmhouse kitchen is exceptionally spacious and has energy efficient appliances including a fridge freezer dishwasher and washing machine. The spiral staircase leads to the sitting room there are traditional stairs as well. Wireless internet access is available there are two TVs a digital sound system with a radio and a small ipod dock. Information is provided on the local area places to visit events local transport and where to source and eat local food. We will even supply some locally sourced fairtrade and organic essentials to start your holiday.

Mobility Description:
Pugmill is accessed from a public metalled road then a private track from the farm. There is a gravelled level parking area for two or more vehicles. To access the building there is a paved step to the porch area then a further step into the main building. There is a (5ft king size) bedroom bathroom and toilet facilities on the ground floor with easy chairs in the ground floor dining kitchen (see images). There is a television and digital radio in the kitchen but the main living area is on the first floor accessed by tradtional carpeted stairs with a left side handrail. This also gives access to the main (twin or 6ft) bedroom which has an ensuite shower basin and WC. (see images).
