The Witchingham is Victorian House. It is a friendly clean and comfortable family run Guest House located close to Holyhead Ferry Port and Railway Station. We provide a warm welcome to all visitors and we make a special effort to ensure the facilities that we provide are clean and comfortable. We have recently refurbished all rooms including the breakfast room to a high standard and continue to improve when we can. Most rooms are ensuite and have WiFi TV a welcome tray with tea and coffee complimentary toiletries hairdryer and corkscrew. Information is provided by email to all guests and on the hall dresser and in the Guest Information File in each room regarding local pubs restaurants and cafes. Access can be provided to the house and your room if you wish to arrive before or after the booking in times. Our self service breakfast is available on request and consists of cereal toast yoghurt fresh fruit Tea filter coffee and fruit juice. The accommodation is located within 150m of the beach and promenade and enjoys views from some rooms over Holyhead Harbour. Its central location means there are good pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Enjoy local walks stunning local scenery the Anglesey Coastal Path and Blue Flag beaches. Around Holyhead there is excellent fishing golfing and sailing facilities wonderful scenery walks and beaches where you can easily lose yourself and relax for a few days. There are horse stables nearby and a water sports centre where activities such as canoeing orienteering etc can be enjoyed. The local RSPB centre at South Stack has a visitors tower and a lovely cafe. There is a Maritime Museum and cafe located in the old lifeboat building on the promenade at Newry Beach within 200 yds. From Anglesey ferries operate several times daily to Dublin withe a day trip easily achievable.

All the rooms including the breakfast room have recently been refurbished to a high standard. All rooms with the exception of one single room are ensuite. We take pride in providing a friendly service with high standards of cleanliness and ensure that any problems that are identified with the service that we provide are rectified as soon as possible.

All rooms have ensuite facilities with a shower (one room also has a bath) with the exception of our single room and one of our twin rooms which have a shared bathroom. All rooms have comfortable beds free Wi-Fi flat screen TV a welcome tray with tea and coffee making facilties towels provided. All guests will have access to a bedside light. We provide a late check-in facility on request.

Directions:
At the end of the dual carriageway (A55) continue straight on at the roundabout and straight on at the traffic lights. Continue straight on for approx 1 mile then around a 90 degree left hand bend. Continue along this road until you come to a mini roundabout. Turn left into Walthew Avenue. You will find the Witchingham B&B 200 yards up this road on the right.;
