The Devonshire Arms is a family run business giving high quality service, food and accomodation for a competitive price. The accommodation comprises of a family room which sleeps 2 adults & 2 children, a family room with a double bed & a cot, 2 double rooms and 4 single rooms - all en-suite with complimentary toiletries. All the rooms have tea & coffee making facilities ,colour TV with Freeview and central heating. The dining room has an extensive menu for both adults & children, & specials every day - we can get almost anything given notice! We are just 10 minutes walk from the town centre. Turn right at the bottom of the hill & you will see some of our beautiful listed buildings - The Dome, first built to house the Duke of Devonshires horses was a hospital for many years & is now part of the University of Derby. The Dome has a cafe & spa open to the public & is well worth a visit to see the pendulum clock unveiled by Prince Charles & his wife. The Opera House has been host to many famous singers, actors & comedians & holds a Gilbert & Sullivan festival every year. The Opera House is one of the buildings which has been restored to its original condition. Buxton has its own charming well where you can fill up your water bottles with the famous Buxton Mineral Water & you can visit the Roman Baths where people would flock to take in the waters in times gone by. We are family friendly, pet friendly & people friendly & will do our best to make your stay a memorable one. The bedrooms all have custom made wooden furniture made by a local craftsman and are comfy, cosy and warm. The lounge bar/dining area is comfortable and warm. We have a fully fitted commercial kitchen where we cook our high quality, great value meals. All meals are home cooked using local prodocee
We have comfortable accommodation, great food at competitive prices and a friendly warm welcome to our pub. There is a dining area, bar, pool table & dart board in the tap room. The accommodation is to the rear of the pub. We have a large free car park at the front and views of the High Peak golf club at the rear. There is also a large area of greenery at the rear which is excellent for playing rounders, cricket, football etc.
