Brougham House B&B is a typical Scottish town house built in the 1820's. It is newly converted to provide luxury en-suite accommodation with disabled access to the 2 bedrooms on the ground floor. This three storey building has an unusual spiral staircase within a 'turret' at the front of the building and a large sunny garden with summerhouse for the use of guests at the rear. Parking is available for 4 cars and a free car park is only a couple of minutes' walk away. Conscious of the environment we have had PV solar panels installed which generate electricity and what we don't use ourselves is fed back into the national grid. The B&B's central Hawick location - just 150m from the High Sreet means there is easy access to the local shops and public transport while the town's award-winning Wilton Lodge Park museums cinema leisure centre and its other attractions and amenities all lie within a few minutes' walk. You can be assured of a warm welcome at Brougham House. Please note : We very much regret that we cannot give a refund for cancellations received with less than 48 hours' notice.

We have a selection of rooms ranging in size price and types. All rooms have LCD TVs with Freeview and DVD players en-suite facilities and in some cases a sofa or armchair. Free WIFI internet is also available to all visitors plus the free use of a desktop computer and printer for internet access (both subject to conditions of use). Brougham House B&B has safe storage for bikes and other outdoor equipment with the only restriction being what you can get down the old stone staircase. Also available are drying facilities whether it be outside when the weather is good or indoors when it is poor. Free WIFI internet is available (subject to conditions of use) and guests are welcome to make use of the summerhouse in the garden

The 2 ground floor rooms are accessible for wheelchair users however the nature of the building means that this may not be suitable for all wheelchairs. Please check with us before booking to ensure that we can meet your needs. It should be noted that the bathroom has a bath with shower over so may not be suitable for all disabled persons.

• Brougham House has a ground floor dining room that looks out over the large garden and across the roof tops of the town centre. Although we do not provide any daytime or evening meals visitors are welcome to use the garden for picnics.
