Peterwell House a 19th century house on the outskirts of the university and market town of Lampeter in Ceredigion Wales. The location of this well presented Bed and Breakfast suits those travelling to the Univeristy as well as those looking to explore the near by Cambrian mountains and stunning Cardigan coast line. The area being rich in wildlife and history has something to offer all and with beaches within driving distance and peaceful mountains around us there is little more you can want from a holiday destination. The property is believed to be linked to the Peterwell Mansion owned by the wealthy Harfod family in the late 18th Century the ruins of which can still be seen today on the south - west side of the town. The families other property Falcondale is a mile from Peterwell House and has now become the Falcondale Hotel regularly used for weddings and large parties in the area. Peterwell House occupies a slightly elevated position on the edge of the town with fields and farmlands around it enabling a countryside stay within a 10 minute walk of the town centre. Guests of the house can make use of the gardens ample free parking storage for bikes and safe area to leave small boats canoes and kayaks. Fishermen staying at the property may make use of a fridge for bate and their catches and those keen on walking and sport can use the drying room. Peterwell House has its own ducks and chickens to provide eggs for breakfast our other pets including a dog rabbit and currently 2 shetland ponies are all well behaved and kept away from guests (unless of course you would like to see them) but this does mean we can not accept guests with pets. Peterwell House does not cater for children under 12
All rooms are well decorated welcoming and have good facilities.
