Middle Barns B & B is on the working farm Low Barns and only about one mile from Hadrian's Wall. Low Barns Farm is bordered on one side by a beautiful stretch of the North Tyne River . The cobbled streets of the market town Hexham with its majestic mediaeval Abbey (AD674) first recorded prison! The Old Gaol and delightful Art Deco Forum Cinema is around 2 miles from us. Hexham also has a host of restaurants coffee houses tea rooms bistros and pubs and a good evening meal can be had at the local pub in Wall. Marina and Paul will welcome you with afternoon tea and cake in the lobby. In the morning enjoy your continental breakfast in the breakfast room or on the terrace. You will have a selection of organic fruits & yogurts Northumberland cheeses Organic cereals croissants home made bread made from locally grown and milled organic flour and home made marmalade plus teas and cafetiere coffee. Luxury full English breakfast available at £6 per person when ordered ahead. Also available are the famous local Craster kippers and locally smoked haddock. Packed lunches available. Whenever possible we use locally grown supplied and organic and free range produce. At Middle Barns we offer a number of Holistic Therapies and Card Readings. These can be booked on this website.
