**Il Valentino Grand Village** is a four-star resort located behind Stornara Nature Reserve, in Castellaneta Marina, in Puglia. The large sandy beach is 2.5 km away and can be easily reached by shuttle while the town centre is 5 kilometres away. Guests can reach the temple of Hera in Metaponto, in 15 minutes by car and Matera and Alberobello, both included in the UNESCO’s World Heritage Site list in 40 minutes. Brindisi and Bari can be reached in just over an hour.

This resort is located within “Nova Yardinia Resort” and includes a central area, called “Storica” and a peripheral but recently built area, which is called “Bagolaro”.
The resort is built in modern style and blends perfectly with the surrounding area. It includes a reception with a safe, a TV lounge, three bars, including one with an indoor room and a large outdoor terrace, another by the pool and s beach bar.
This modern and comfortable resort covers a large area with spaces designed for sports and recreational activities, such as two 1000smq pools, including one with sea water, three tennis courts, two football pitches, volleyball, basketball bocce courts, archery facilities, a children's playground, a beach volleyball court and a fitness centre.
An 18-hole golf course is 7 km away, while a riding centre is 5 km away.

The mandatory Club Card includes many activities, such as sports, recreational activities, daytime and evening entertainment. Moreover, a dedicated staff organises recreational activities for children and teens aged 3 to 17 years.

The private and exclusive beach can be reached by shuttle from 08:00 am to 07:00 pm and by walking for 50 metres along a wooden walkway that crosses part of the Nature Reserve.

Free Wi-Fi in the common areas and in all rooms and a private, unattended car park are also available for guests.

There are also a boutique, a small supermarket selling newspapers and cigarettes and many shops.

##Rooms
Il Valentino Grand Village has 252 Standard Bagolaro units and 110 “Storica” units:
-Standard Bagolaro: located in a less central but quieter area, they have a furnished veranda or a garden and can accommodate up to six people;
-Storica: located in the central area of the resort, some overlooking the pool, others overlooking the pine wood.
All rooms are spacious and bright and look more like a comfortable apartment, with use of the kitchenette available on request, and at an additional cost (cleaned by the customer).
They have private bathroom with shower, hair dryer (Bagolaro rooms), telephone, TV, a refrigerator and air conditioning.
Bagolaro connecting rooms are also available.

Some Bagolaro rooms are specially equipped for people with disabilities.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are buffet style, with water and bottled wine included with meals, at “Le Piramidi” restaurant. On request, guests can also dine at “Le Pagode”, a Pizza-Pasta-Grill restaurant overlooking the pool.
