Being on the edge of the Peak District National Park we are in the ideal spot for walkers with Dovedale and the Manifold Valley on our doorstep. Bakewell and the stately homes of Chatsworth House & Shugborough Hall are within easy reach. Stoke-on-Trent has many pottery factory shops to pick up local china & souvenirs. Furthermore see how the pottery is made at the Visitor Centres of Wedgwood Doulton or Spode. Check-in time is from 4pm until 9pm. Late arrivals would need to contact the guest house directly to check whether a later check-in would be available. Bookings made for the same day arrival can only be accepted if booked by 6pm on the day of arrival.
