We seek to make you welcome whatever you need and whatever the season. Events: We have live music quizes and private parties. We are proud to feature Harvey's Best Bitter as our continuous house real ale and we serve one or two visiting ales every week during the year. Coors Light Carling and Grolsch are our draught lagers. Gaymers Old English (though less promoted than some is a great cider just ask for a free sample) is on draught as is Guinness extra cold. Our wine list is constantly changing so we can offer quality and value all the time so please ask what is available at the bar. Of course we stock a wide range of premium spirits. This can all be enjoyed in the four separate areas of our large bar in the garden or on the huge solid oak veranda which makes the outside available even when the weather isn't perfect.
We welcome you for an overnight stay or longer break in our four deluxe bedrooms which all have ensuite shower bathrooms comfortable beds flat screen TVs Ipod dock radio alarms and free WiFi for internet access. They retain some of the traditional features but are newly built within the original stables building. Our development work is continuing and we will have a fifth bedroom soon and three more will follow during the year as they are being created within the original barn.
We are a traditional family friendly country inn. we offer good food good drink and clean comfortable accommodation. Informal and friendly - with a warm welcome - we find all that arrive to stay come again!!
