Worthenbury Manor is on the B5069 in Worthenbury between the A41 and the A525 . Its close to Bangor on Dee Carden Farndon Iscoyd Park Malpas Overton Whitchurch and Wrexham Industrial Estate. Chester and Llangollen are 15 miles away and Shrewsbury is 28 miles. This is a good holiday centre from which to explore Cheshire North Wales and North Shropshire. Locally there are good opportunities for fishing walking & cycling. Golf courses at Carden Park Llangollen Wrexham Plassey Oaks Clays & Oswestry. There are also a number of local activity centres that provide quad biking off road 4X4 driving and archery. Visit numerous National Trust Properties gardens and steam railways. Alternatively visit the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct World Heritage Site or go horseracing at Bangor on Dee or Chester. Oulton Park motor racing is only 25 miles away. We grow our own fruit vegetables & herbs which along with the best local seasonal produce are used in our cooking. Evening meals by prior arrangement. The Manor is not on mains sewage so we are committed to reducing the amount of water and detergent discharged to the septic tank and thence to the brook. To this end towels are not always changed on a daily basis. Worthenbury anor is also a member of the Shropshire Nature Trust and the grounds and gardens are managed for the benefit of local wild life.

Worthenbury Manor is a grade 2 listed building with many original features which has made it difficult to adapt for guests with special needs. Regretfully The Manor is not accessible for wheelchair users. All guests are offered help with luggage on arrival and departure. Please see our access statement.

- Worthenbury Manor has a 17th century oak panelled dining room which is furnished with period antique furniture. There are two dining tables one seating 4; the other seating 6. You can eat at your own table or if your party occupies both bedrooms you can all share the same table. Dinner or supper is by prior arrangement and you can invite non resident friends to join you. The best local & home produce is used in our cooking eg Lewis's Farm Shop overall champion sausage pies game & meat.

Directions:
Take the A525. Leave the A525 signposted Bangor on Dee & take the B5069 towards Malpas. After about 1.5 miles you will see the Worthenbury village sign shortly after this the road bears to the left. You will see Worthenbury Manor on the right across the field. Continue forward pass a white house on the right when you see the road sign for a hump back bridge indicate right after a few yards opposite a road lamp and just before the bridge you will see the drive on the right. There's no B&B sign.;
