The Rising Sun is one of Britain's most famous fishing pubs situated amongst the stunning scenery of North Devon. With open fires in the Winter and a glorious terrace in the Summer The Rising Sun is an inn for all seasons we try to give you the true values of a country pub a warm welcome great local ales and a menu that showcases the best of local seasonal food. Our rooms are priced from £70.00 per night for a double room and from £60.00 per night for a single occupancy. Dogs are welcome in most rooms and we charge just £7.50 per night. All our bedrooms are en suite with either showers and/or baths. All are warm with fresh linen and towels and with tea/coffee making facilities. We have a nice large Annex / Family Room here at The Rising Sun. Great for family breaks or a fishing weekend etc. The Annex has two double bedrooms. All e/s bathrooms with showers. The Annex is from £70.00 per room per night. We stock a small selection of toothbrushes toothpaste and other toiletries at reception so please ask if you have forgotten anything. There is also a great shop just a mile down the road stocking almost all your requirements along with a petrol station and items for the beach.

Come off the M5 at J27 signposted Tiverton/Barnstaple. Follow the A361 for 23 miles and come off at roundabout signposted South Molton. In centre of South Molton take B3227 to Umberleigh. At Umberleigh bridge you will see the Rising Sun ahead of you.;
