Cobram is the central service town for this beautiful Murray Valley region. Dairy farming and fruit growing are the predominant industries. There are no shortages for wineries, olive groves, orchards and historic properties in the area to visit. During the fruit season from October to March there are a variety of farm gate sales and fruit stands where you can sample and buy the best produce Victoria has to offer.

The Cobba Paddle Boat cruises the murray from the beautiful Thompsons Beach daily. Book a lunch cruise or just have a coffee and cake on the early cruise. From Thompsons Beach, the largest inland beach on the river, there are any number of bush tracks to walk or cycle . take in the views of the river and see the abundant birdlife and maybe a Koala.
