80 Watergate Street is a three storey Georgian townhouse which has been lovingly restored and filled with modern and interesting pieces of furniture. Each room has been individually designed and styled for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The bed and breakfast is situated in the heart of the Chester inside the city walls just a stones throw from Chester Racecourse. The citys shops and sights are but a moment's walk from the front door. Each afternoon we invite you to join us for tea and homemade cake in the dining room - a lovely place to relax with comfy seating and a log burning stove. Nothing is too much trouble for us at 80 Watergate Street. Each room has been appointed with all you could need to ensure you have a relaxing and luxurious stay. Turn on the flat screen TV if nothing takes your fancy then plug your phone into a docking station listen to music and make yourself a Nespresso coffee. Breakfast is served in our dining room on the ground floor. We only use the highest quality ingredients and the meat is sourced from a local butcher. The continental selection contains homemade and locally sourced products which cater for all dietary requirements. Please let us know of any special requirements and we will be happy to source and supply. The bed and breakfast is situated on an ancient Friary of which there were three in this part of Chester. Each room takes a Friary as it's name if you would like to research them the names are Whitefriars Greyfriars and Blackfriars. Please note that Whitefriars and Greyfriars are on the second floor and Blackfriars is on the third floor. Thank you. 80 Watergate Street has three individually designed rooms. The first is Whitefriars a double room with an en suite shower room. The second is Greyfriars a superking or twin room with a shower and bath in the bathroom. The final room is a suite called Blackfriars this room has a separate lounge and bedroom with a king size bed. This room also has a shower and copper bath in the bathroom. The bed and breakfast also has a breakfast room which guests are free to use as a lounge in the evenings.
80 Watergate Street has wifi internet access throughout the property. There are some board games available for guests to play. In the breakfast room there is a raid the larder cupboard for guests to help themselves to. Ironing facilities are available on request and can be delivered to your room. Both dry cleaning and laundry can be arranged with a days notice. This is a non-smoking property. Parking is very local just to the rear of the property and is £5 or free if you arrive after 3pm.

It is our policy to confirm to all relevant legislation. We are committed to ensuring that all guests are made aware of the bed and breakfast's layout so that they can make a fully informed decision as to whether 80 Watergate Street is the right choice for their stay in Chester. The townhouse is built over 3 storey's with the guest accommodation on the second and third floor. There are three steps up to the front door of the building. Unfortunately we do not have a lift but a hand rail is available and we will endeavour to overcome physical barriers and limitations that exist.

Breakfast is served for guests at a shared table with a continental buffet as well as a plated breakfast which is cooked to order. This room is also where we invite you to join us for cake and tea from 3-6pm in the afternoon. Guests can use this room in the evening at their leisure to relax in. The room has some games and snacks available for guests to help themselves to throughout their stay.

Head out of the train station towards city road the station will be directly behind you. When you reach the Bars the large roundabout take the subway on the left hand side under the roundabout heading for Foregate Street. Walk down Foregate Street until it changes to Watergate Street and continue on. You will come to a junction. Cross using the right hand side crossing. 80 Watergate Street is the first house on the right hand side.;
