Older than Shakespeare and set in its own grounds, Sampson�s provides a welcome change from the usual anonymous motels and corporate guests always appreciate the difference. Owned by the Bell family for over 35 years, Sampson�s provides the perfect retreat in which to relax and unwind, with inglenook fireplaces and log fires in the winter. Meandering through the meadows, the River Teign makes a beautiful setting for walks just down the lane.

Directions:
After Exeter, take A380/A38 lane. Shortly after take the A380, Torquay lane. From the A380 take the turn off signposted B3195, Kingsteignton. Pass the Ten Tors Inn on your left, take 2nd right, signposted B3193 to Chudleigh. Approaching the r'bout, take right hand turn, signposted B3193, Chudleigh& Preston. Within 2 minutes, take the small left hand turn off marked by the Brown Sampsons Tourist Sign, a blue plough and a road sign for Preston. Keep left until you arrive.
